Grog: A progressive exploration on various applications of handmade grog particulates. Traditional takes on surface decoration are expressed in an abrasive nature or interior spacial occupation is taken to an unnecessary extreme. These decisions dissolve certain ideas of how the objects are perceived in a functional sense, opening up a new dialogue for the objects to exist in.
Treatment: This body of work is an inquiry on surface decoration / application. Embracing ideas of tactility and unconventional approaches to how an object can be finished on the exterior. Subtle decisions on color and display allow for the surface treatment on the objects to be the focus.
